딥 본능은 딥러닝을 사이버 보안에 적용하는 사이버 보안 기업이다. 악성코드를 예방하고 탐지하는 업무에 첨단 인공지능을 구현한다.[1][2][3][4][5][6] 이 회사는 2017년 세계경제포럼(WEF)이 선정한 테크놀로지 파이오니어(Technology Fioner)의 수혜자였다.[7]

2015년 가이 카스피, 일라이 다비드 박사, 나다브 마만이 설립한 [8]딥 본능. 그 회사의 본사는 뉴욕에 있다.

2017년 7월 엔비디아가 투자자가 됐다.[9] 톰스 하드웨어에 따르면 엔비디아는 이번 투자로 GPU 기반의 신경망과 CUDA 플랫폼에 접속할 수 있게 돼 취약성 검출률이 극대화됐다.[10] 2020년 2월 현재 시리즈 C 펀딩 라운드에서 4300만 달러를 모금했다.[11]

딥본능은 2019년 4월 중국 화가 궈오동이 950억 달러의 피해를 입은 악성코드 6개에 감염된 노트북으로 구성된 '혼돈의 지속성'이라는 제목의 미술 프로젝트를 의뢰했다. 이 미술품은 최종 낙찰가 134만5000달러로 경매에 부쳐졌다.[12]

글로브스는 2019년 HP가 딥 본능과 제휴해 EliteBook과 Zbook 기기에 적용된 보안 솔루션 HP 슈어센스를 출시했다고 보도했다.[13]

2021년 4월, 딥 인빅트는 성장을 가속화하기 위해 1억 달러 시리즈 D를 닫는다.[14]
