Gek Poh MRT 역은 싱가포르 주롱웨스트의 주롱 지역 노선을 따라가는 미래 고도화된 대중 교통(MRT)[1][2][3]
역사
2018년 5월 9일, LTA는 Gek Poh 역이 제안된 주롱 지역 노선의 일부가 될 것이라고 발표했다. 이 역은 1단계 JRL(웨스트)의 일부로 조성되며 초아추강과 분 레이, 타와스 사이의 10개 역으로 구성되며, 2027년에 완공될 예정이다.[4]
Gek Poh역 및 관련 Viadors의 설계 및 시공에 대한 계약 J107은 Sembcorp Design and Construction Pte Ltd에게 총 2억2660만 달러(1억6610만 달러)의 상금으로 수여되었다. 2020년 착공해 2027년 완공한다.[5] 계약 J107은 타와스 및 관련 비아드럭의 설계와 시공도 포함한다.[6]
당초 2026년 개통이 예상됐던 COVID-19 대유행으로 인한 공사 제한으로 인해 JRL 노선 완공 시기가 지연되면서 2027년으로 늦춰졌다.[7]
위치
역세권 단지는 주롱서번가 74번가와의 분기점, 주롱서번가 5번가와 주롱서번가 82번가와의 분기점 사이에 있는 기존 주롱서번가 75번가에 걸쳐 조성된다. 북쪽으로는 게크포 쇼핑센터와 게크포빌 커뮤니티 클럽이 있고,[8] 복수의 주택단지에 의해 중첩된 유난 서브존의 주롱웨스트 계획구역 내에 위치하고 있다.
이 역은 주롱 웨스트 스트리트 75번가 양쪽에 있는 3개의 출구를 통해 갈 수 있다.[9]
