올레르티디온은 빗발거미과(Theridiidae)의 일종으로 2008년 [2]J. Wunderlich에 의해 처음 기술되었다.2019년 9월[update] 현재, 그린란드를 포함한 전북극 분포의 3종, O. undbecki, O. olerti,[1] O. thaleri를 포함하고 있다.2019년 유전자 연구는 이 속을 헤테로테리디온과 [3]동의어로 만들 것을 제안했다. 그러나 증거는 주로 종 분리에 유용한 도구인 COI 바코딩에 기초했지만 더 높은 [4]분류군을 결정하는 데는 덜 유용했다.
