맨 먼저Oligocene 시대 때, 마이오세어 멸종된 아르헨티나에 살았다.dog-sized, armadilloxenarthran의 포유류 Peltephilus, 뿔 달린 armadillo,는 멸종된 유인원 속이다.특히 머릿속에서 scutes들이 뿔을 형성했다 개발되었다.별도로 북 아메리카의 뿔 달린 둘이서에서, 하나는 알려진 굴을 파는 뿔 달린 포유 동물입니다.[1]
Although it had traditionally been perceived as a carnivore because of its large, triangular-shaped teeth, Vizcaino and Farina argued in 1997 that Peltephilus was a herbivore.[2]
분류학
