풀린다스
Pulindas풀린다스(산스크리트어: पुलिदद)는 인도의 고대 부족이었는데, 아마도 중부 인도 빈디야 산맥의 주변 지역에 거주했을 것이다.[1] 아소카 주의 바위 칙령에는 풀린다스, 그들의 수도 풀린다나가라, 그리고 그들의 이웃 부족들이 언급되어 있는데, 그 근거는 그들의 수도가 마디야 프라데시 주의 오늘날 자발푸르 지역에 위치하기도 한다.[2] 바삭은 그들을 빈디야 산맥과 사투라 산맥의 언덕 부족, 더 구체적으로 빌스 산맥과 동일시한다.[3]
비록 빈디얀 지역과 분명히 연관되어 있지만, 풀린다스는 히말라야 지역과 아삼 지역에 이르는 여러 부족 지부를 가지고 있었다고 믿기도 한다.[4] 히말라야 지역에서는 고대 인도 문학이 키라타스와 연계하여 언급하는 경우가 많다.[4]
