제2계통효과
Second-system effect제2시스템 효과나 제2시스템 증후군은 부풀려진 기대와 과신뢰로 인해 지나치게 설계되고 비대해진 시스템으로 인해 작고 우아하고 성공적인 시스템이 성공하는 경향이다.[1]
이 구절은 1975년에 처음 출판된 프레드 브룩스가 그의 저서 <신화적인 인간의 달>에서 처음 사용한 것이다.그것은 IBM 700/7000 시리즈의 단순한 운영체제에서 1964년에 일어난 360 시리즈에서의 OS/360으로의 점프를 설명했다.[2]
