Stein 2051 (Gliese 169.1, G 175-034, LHS 26/27) is a nearby binary star system, containing a red dwarf (component A) and a degenerate star (white dwarf) (component B), located in constellation Camelopardalis at about 18 ly from Earth.[11]

스타인 2051은 가장 가까운 별자리 쌍성계(적색 왜성+백색 왜성)이다(기원전 40 에리다니는 16.26광년 [12]거리에 있지만 삼중성계의 일부이다).

스타인 2051 B는 시리우스 B, 프로키온 B, 반 마넨의 LP 145-141에리다니 B에 이어 여섯 번째로 가까운 백색왜성이다.

이 두 별 중 더 밝은 별은 A(빨간색 왜성)이지만 더 무거운 것은 B(흰색 왜성)입니다.

2017년 스타인 2051 B가 더 먼 별 앞을 지나가는 것이 관측되었다.별빛이 가까운 별의 중력장에 의해 휘어지면서 질량을 직접 측정할 수 있게 되었다.스타인 2051 B의 추정 질량은 0.675±0.051M으로 탄소-산소 [13]핵을 가진 백색왜성의 예상 범위와 일치한다.
