해상초계함(OPV) 사류급은 고아조선소에 건조된 인도 해군의 첨단 초계함이다. 이 선박들은 해양 감시와 감시가 가능하고, 항로 통제를 유지할 수 있다. 그들은 또한 해상 석유 시설과 다른 해군 자산에 보안을 제공하기 위해 배치될 수 있다.[3]

설계 및 개발

사류급은 인도 해안경비대를 위해 건조된 산칼프급 선박에서 유래했다.[5] 이 선박들은 GSL의 사내 설계 팀이 설계했으며 245억 2천만 달러(2020년 미화 4700억 달러 또는 6억 2천만 달러 상당)의 비용으로 건조되었다.[2][6] 선박은 총 21,725 미터 마력(15,979 kW)의 등급의 두 개의 피엘스틱 디젤 엔진에 의해 구동되며, 각각은 감속 변속 장치를 통해 Waertsilé WCP 5C10 제어 가능한 피치 프로펠러를 구동한다.[7][8]

동급 선박

첫 번째 배인 INS 사류호는 2009년 3월 30일 수레시 메타 해군참모총장이 참석한 가운데 취역했다.[9] INS 사류는 2012년[10][11] 12월 21일 해군에 인계되어 2013년 1월 21일 바스코 다 가마에서 안다만·니코바르 사령부 사령관 P K 로이에 의해 임관되었다.[2][12]

두 번째 배인 INS 수나이나는 2013년 9월 2일 인도 해군에 인도되었다.[13] 그녀의 첫 번째 CO는 Cdr 아프타브 아흐메드 칸이었다. 나머지 3척의 배는 이후 각각 6개월 간격으로 인도되었다.[12] 4번째이자 마지막 OPV인 INS 수미트라는 2014년 7월 16일 GSL에 의해 해군에 인도되었다.[14] 2017년과 2018년 스리랑카 해군에 선박 2척이 인도됐다.
