생명의 나무 (쿠란)

불멸의 나무(아랍어: شََرَُُُ, 로마자: 샤자라투 l-ḫuld)는 쿠란에 나타나는 생명 모티브의 나무다. 그것은 또한 하디스와 타프시르에서도 암시된다. 성경의 설명과 달리 쿠란은 알라가 아담과 이브에게 특별히 금했던 [1]불멸의 나무라고도 불리는 에덴의 나무 한 그루만을 언급한다. 다시 말해 쿠란에는 지식의 나무가 없다.[2][3] 코란에 있는 나무는 개념, 아이디어, 삶의 방식 또는 삶의 규범에 대한 예로 사용된다. 좋은 개념/이상은 좋은 나무로, 나쁜 생각/이념은 나쁜 나무로 표현된다.[4] 사탄은 그들에게 나타나 하나님이 그 나무에서 그들을 먹지 못하게 하는 유일한 이유는 그들이 천사(말락)가 되거나 이블리스가 아담을 설득하여 대를 이어 상속 세대와 연계하여 소유권 개념(물)을 사용하기 시작했기 때문이라고 말했다.[5]
그러나 아하디스는 천국의 다른 나무에 대해 말한다.[6]

This in itself gives an indication that it is the well-known tree of evil, for both good and evil are compared to two trees in 14:24, 25 and elsewhere. This is further corroborated by the devil's description of it as “the tree of immortality” (20:120), ...
