덴마크의 그리스인들은 작은 공동체다.2009년 10월 현재 덴마크 통계청 덴마크는 덴마크에 거주하는 그리스 출신 인구 1180명을 기록했으며, 뉴질랜드 954명, 주틀랜드 177명, 푸넨 48명, 본홀름 1명 등이다.[1]

역사

미숙련 이주자들은 1960년대에 에브로스와 카스토리아에서 덴마크로 오기 시작했다. 그들은 주로 모피 무역에서 일했다.초기 이주민들의 대부분은 이 분야가 경제적으로 침체되면서 그리스로 돌아왔다.1967-1974년 그리스 군사정권을 탈출한 정치 망명자들은 숫자로는 미미했지만, 정치적으로 진보적인 덴마크 국민들로부터 많은 공감을 불러일으켰다.[2]목적지로 덴마크를 선택한 그리스 유학생의 수는 그리스가 유럽경제공동체의 일원이 된 1981년 이후 증가세를 보였다.[3]

성별 문제

많은 이주민들이 덴마크 여성과 국제결혼을 하는 그리스 남성들로 구성되어 있다.덴마크 남성과 결혼한 그리스 여성의 수는 더 적다.어느 쪽이든 그런 관계는 이혼율이 유난히 높다.배우자들은 일반적으로 그들의 덴마크 파트너와 헤어지면 그리스로 돌아온다.[2]
