SEFL(Southernest Freight Line)은 미국 남동부 및 남서부에서 운영하는 사우스캐롤라이나주 렉싱턴에 본사를 둔 LTL(트럭 적재) 미만의 미국 개인 소유의 화물 운송 회사다.[2] 이 회사는 연간 10억 달러 이상의 매출을 올리는 10번째로 큰 미국 LTL 운송 회사다.[3][4]

역사

남동부 화물선은 윌리엄 T에 의해 1950년에 설립되었다. 사우스캐롤라이나 주 렉싱턴의 캐슬이야 이 회사는 처음에는 트럭 14대와 직원 20명을 고용하고 5천 달러를 대출받았다.[5] 1975년 W. T. "빌" 카셀 주니어는 사우스웨스트 화물사의 사장이 되었다. 플로렌스 시설은 1953년 9월 빌 캐슬 주니어가 트럭 3대 중 1대를 운영하던 곳으로 문을 열었다.[6] 1987년 10월 2일, W. T. Cassels는 아들 Casels Jr.를 Northwest Freight의 CEO로 남기고 세상을 떠났다. 1973년부터 사우스이스트 화물 회사에서 일했던 "토빈" 카셀스 3세는 2001년에 대통령이 되었다. 아우구스타는 1976년 3월에 설립되었다.[7] 남서부로의 확장은 1996년 뉴올리언스에 시설이 설립되면서 1990년대에 시작되었다.[8] 사우스이스트 프레이트사는 2005년 타일러에서 확대되며 텍사스 시장으로 진출했다.[9] 8년 후인 2013년 2월 21일 휴스턴 시설과 2015년 5월 11일 러벅 시설을 갖춘 사우스이스트 프레이트 항공이 텍사스에서 더욱 확장됐다.[10][11] 2008년 10월 멕시코에 4가지 선적 옵션을 제공함으로써 국제 운용이 확대되었다.[12] 사우스이스트 프레이트사의 켄터키 운영은 2015년 렉싱턴, 루이빌, 볼링 그린으로 확장하면서 설립됐다.[13] 2015년 11월 2일 웨스트 애틀랜타 서비스 센터는 웨스트 조지아 주와 이스트 앨라배마 주 고객들을 위한 서비스를 개시했다.[14][15]

운영

사우스웨스트 프레이트 항공은 남동부, 남서부, 푸에르토리코에 88개의 서비스 센터를 운영하며, 자체 준트레일러 트럭을 이용하여 다음날 배달에 주력하고 있다. 서비스 센터는 고객들에게 믿을 수 있는 배달을 제공하기 위해 설립되었다.[16] 또한 남한이 아닌 미국의 다른 지역으로의 운송을 위한 서비스 파트너 네트워크도 있다. 교통수단은 캐나다, 멕시코, 미국령 버진아일랜드가 국제적으로 포함된다.[17][18]

2011년, 사우스이스트 로지스틱솔루션즈는 신속한 서비스와 멀티모달 운송을 제공하기 위해 사우스이스트 프레이트사의 자회사로 출범하였다. 사우스이스트로지컬솔루션즈는 파트너십 역량이 필요한 프로젝트에 초점을 맞추고 있다.[19][20]
