라카 작전[88]()은 2016년 11월 시리아 민주군(SDF)이 이라크 이슬람국가(ISIL)와 라카주(州)의 레반트(ISIL)를 상대로 벌인 로자바-이슬람 분쟁 기간에 시작된 군사 작전입니다. IS의 수도 라카를 고립시키고 결국 점령하려는 목적으로 말입니다. SDF의 부대 목표에는 타브카 댐, 인근 도시인 알-타흐, 그리고 [89]더 하류에 있는 바트 댐을 점령하는 것이 포함되었습니다.[90] 이 캠페인은 2017년 10월 라카를 점령하면서 성공적으로 끝났습니다.

배경

2016년 10월 말, 미국 국방부 장관 애쉬 카터는 이라크 모술 전투와 동시에 라카에 대한 공세를 실시할 것을 요구했습니다. 그는 미국이 라카 주변에서 '고립 작전'을 시작하기 위해 동맹국들과 협력하고 있다고 말했습니다. 10월 26일, 레제프 타이이프 에르도 ğ안 튀르키예 대통령은 버락 오바마 미국 대통령에게 전화를 걸어 계획된 작전에 인민수호부대(YPG)가 참여하는 것을 원하지 않으며 대신 터키군을 참여시킬 계획이라고 말했습니다. 마이클 팰런 영국 국방부 장관은 비 아랍 세력이 공격에 참여한다는 생각을 거부하고 순수 아랍 세력을 요구했습니다.[91]

공세.

1단계: 라카 북부 내륙으로부터 고립

11월 6일, SDF는 아인 이사의 남쪽과 남동쪽에 있는 와히드, 움 사파, 와시타, 하란, 알 아드리아, 주라 등 6개의 작은 마을을 점령했습니다.[38] 이슬람국가는 공세 첫날 차량 폭탄 4발을 터뜨렸습니다.[100]

11월 8일, SDF는 아인 이사 근처의 11개 마을을 장악했으며, 이슬람 국가군이 그들에게 여러 대의 자동차 폭탄을 사용했다고 보고했습니다.[101] 11월 11일, SDF는 ISIL의 지역 본부이자 사령부 역할을 했던 12개 이상의 마을과 전략적으로 중요한 도시인 알히스바를 점령했습니다.[102] 다음날 SDF는 탈사만과 크네즈 주변 지역에서 ISIL을 상대로 계속 진격하여 점령된 농장과 마을의 수를 26개로 늘렸습니다.[103]

교착상태와 2단계 준비

공세의 두 번째 단계는 락까 시의 전면 봉쇄를 시행하는 것을 목표로 했습니다.[111] 11월 21일, SDF는 두 개의 마을을 더 점령했고,[112] ISIL은 탈사만 근처에서 반격을 시작했습니다.[113] 다음날 SDF는 알칼리타와 같은 추가 진격을 시도했지만 [114]탈사만 남쪽의 ISIL 방어선을 뚫지 못했습니다.[115] 11월 24일, 한 미군 병사가 라카 북쪽 아인 이사 마을 근처에서 즉석 폭발 장치를 밟은 후 입은 상처로 사망했습니다.[citation needed]

2단계: 서부 시골에서 라카 고립

자바르 전투

12월 21일, SDF는 ISIL의 주요 무기 저장 및 공급 센터였던 [146]자바를 점령했습니다.[147] 그 후 연합군은 타브카 댐 이전의 마지막 마을인 수웨이디야 사기라와 수웨이디야 카비르 쪽으로 이동하기 시작했습니다.[148] 얼마 지나지 않아 ISIL의 반격으로 자바 마을을 탈환했지만,[149] SDF는 12월 23일 다시 공격하여 다시 한번 자바 마을을 장악하는 동시에 또 다른 마을도 점령했습니다.[150] 이로 인해 ISIL은 그날 오후 또다시 반격에 나섰고, 이에 따라 여러 차례의 자살 차량 폭탄이 뒤따랐습니다.[151][152][153] 그 결과, 12월 24일 새벽까지 계속된 전선을 따라 여러 마을에서 그들과 SDF 전투기 사이에 심한 충돌이 일어났습니다. 자바르 주변 전투

12월 27일, ISIL은 북부 시골의 세콜 마을을 공격하기 시작했고, 보도에 따르면 지역 SDF 방어를 돌파했습니다.[161] 다음날 SDF는 이틀간의 격전 끝에 하다즈 마을을 점령했고, 자바르에 대한 또 다른 ISIL의 반격은 격퇴된 것으로 알려졌습니다.[162] IS 지도자들의 재정 담당 고위 관리자인 마흐무드 알 이사위는 12월 31일 미국 주도의 연합군의 락까 공습으로 사망했습니다.[163] 3일간의 격렬한 전투 끝에, SDF는 2017년 1월 1일 알자르니아 하위구의 가장 큰 마을인 마흐무들리의 전부 또는 대부분을 점령했습니다. 2월 27일, 미 국방부가 ISIL에 대한 전투를 대폭 가속화하기 위해 도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령에게 제출한 계획에는 미국의 락까 작전 참여가 크게 증가하는 것이 포함되어 있으며, 미국은 락까 전선에 대한 지상 주둔군을 4,000-5,000명으로 늘릴 가능성이 있습니다.[278]

알-타브카 지방 전투 및 기타 발전
