신디 디아스포라는 역사적으로 영국 인도의 신드 [1]지방뿐만 아니라 파키스탄의 현대 신드 지방으로부터 다른 나라와 지역으로 이주한 신디족과 그 후손들로 구성되어 있다.[2]

남아시아를 제외하고 말레이시아, 오만, 싱가포르, UAE, 미국, 영국 등 세계 여러 대륙에 걸쳐 크고 잘 확립된 신디쉬 공동체가 있다.[3]

인도

1947년에 신디 힌두교 공동체의 약 절반이 인도로 이주했다. 2011년 인구조사 기준으로 인도에는 약 270만 명의 신디가 살고 있다.[4]

영국과 미국에는 상당한 규모의 신디스의 인구가 있다.

아프가니스탄의 약 10,700명의 신디는 훨씬 더 큰 신디족 집단의 일부인 것으로 추정된다. 아프가니스탄의 거의 모든 신디는 하나피족 이슬람교도들이다.[5]
