Ibn Sina Robot이븐 시나 로봇은 아랍어 회화 능력을 가진 세계 최초의 안드로이드 로봇이다.아랍에미리트 대학의 인터랙티브 로봇과 미디어 [1]랩에서 로봇학자 니콜라오스 마브리디스와 한손 로보틱스의 설립자 데이비드 핸슨이 만든 이븐 시나는 유명한 11세기[2][3][4] 페르시아의 폴리매스(Avicenna)의 이름을 따왔다.이 로봇은 표정, 손짓, 아랍어 대화, 얼굴 감지, 얼굴 인식 [5][6]등을 할 수 있다.직경 13m의 원형 방 안에 무대, 프로젝션 스크린 및 센서가 있는 인터랙티브 시어터 설치의 일부입니다.실제 존재하는 로봇과 온라인 가상 세계의 아바타를 가진 인간 사이의 라이브 상호작용, 뇌-컴퓨터 [citation needed]인터페이스를 통한 로봇 원격 제어 등 다양한 형태의 원격 참여에 관한 실험이 이루어지고 있다.
이 로봇은 두바이에서 열린 GITEX 2009 전시회에서 1000명 이상의 관람객과 교류했으며 UAE 내셔널,[5] BBC,[6] AFP,[7] 알자지라 등 세계 언론에 여러 차례 소개됐다.
