PAS 도메인 함유 세린/트레오닌-단백질 키나아제는 인간에서 PASK 유전자에 의해 인코딩되는 효소다.[5][6][7][8]
PAS 영역은 외적 자극과 내적 자극 모두에 대응하여 많은 세포내 신호 경로의 기능을 규제한다.PASK는 효모, 파리, 포유류에 존재하는 진화적으로 보존된 단백질이다.[OMIM에 의해 제공][8]
