Tanner Lectures on Human Values

태너 인간가치강좌는 1978년 미국 학자 오버트 클라크 태너가 캠브리지대 클레어홀에서 설립한 인문학의 다학제 강의 시리즈다.[1] 강연을 창립하면서 그는 그들의 목적을 다음과 같이 정의하였다.[2]

나는 이 강의들이 인류의 지적, 도덕적 삶에 기여하기를 바란다. 나는 그것들을 단순히 인간의 행동과 인간의 가치에 대한 더 나은 이해를 위한 탐색으로 본다. 이러한 이해는 그 자체의 본질적인 가치를 위해 추구될 수도 있지만, 결국 개인과 사회 생활의 질에 실질적인 결과를 가져올 수도 있다.
