티미딜레이트 신타아제 억제제
Thymidylate synthase inhibitor티미딜레이트 싱타아제 억제제는 효소 티미딜레이트 싱타제를 억제하고 항암 화학요법으로서 잠재력을 갖는 화학 물질이다.[1]이러한 억제는 디옥시우리딘모노인산염(dUMP)의 C5의 메틸화를 방지하여 디옥시미딘모노인산염(dTMP)의 합성을 억제한다.세포가 dTTP에 필요한 전구체인 dTMP가 부족하면 DNA 합성을 제대로 할 수 없기 때문에 다운스트림 효과는 세포사멸 촉진이다.[2]2002년 임상시험에는 랄트리트렉시드, 펨렉시드, 놀래트렉시드, ZD9331, GS7904L 등 5개 요원이 있었다.[3]
