하눈-다간("다간은 자비롭다"^[1]라는 뜻)은 기원전 2008년~2016년 마리 왕국의 삭카나크쿠이자 왕(루갈)이었다.^[2] 전임 히틀랄-에라(Hitlal-Erra)의 동생으로,^[3] 시에서 발견된 도장에 샤크카나크쿠 푸주르-이슈타르(Shakkanakku Puzur-Ishtar)의 아들로 기록되어 있다.^[4] 삭카나크쿠의 작위가 군사 총독을 지명하였지만,^[5] 마리에서의 작위 보유자는 독립 군주였으며,^[6] 명목상 우르 3세 왕조의 속주하에 있었다.^[7] 일부 삭카나크쿠스는 봉헌 비문에 왕명 루갈을 사용하였고, 우르의 궁정과의 서신에는 샤카나크쿠라는 호칭을 사용하였으며,^[8] 하눈다간은 왕명을 사용하였음이 확실하다.^[9]

하눈다간은 우르의 입비신(Ibbi-Sin)과 동시대로,^[10] 마리 왕궁을 개축한 공로를 인정받고 있다.^[11] Unlike most of their predecessors who bore Akkadian names, both Hanun-Dagan and his brother Hitlal-Erra bore Amorite names,^[12] and seals in Mari records Hitlal-Erra as a military official under Puzur-Ishtar, leading Piotr Michalowski to suspect a coup that deposed the family of Puzur-Ishtar and replaced it with Hanun-Dagan's family.^[13] 하눈-다간의 치세에 따른 삭카나쿠스의 계승은 명단이 공백으로 가득 차 있어 단정하기 어렵다.^[10]
