옐멕(Yelmek)은 젤멕(Jelmek) 또는 젤미크(Jelmik)라고도 하며,[2] 웨스트 파푸아에 있는 Trans-Fly – Bulaka River(Trans-Fly – Bulaka River) 계열의 언어다.
옐멕은 메라우케 서쪽에서 디굴 강과 음비안 강 사이에 사용된다. 주목할 만한 마을로는 (북쪽에서 남으로) 완암강 옐와압, 비비켐, 와우요, 도달림(두달링) 등이 있다. 관련 마클루는 웰부티 마을에서 사용된다.[3]
완암 품종은 아마도 뚜렷한 언어일 것이다.[4]
