이소펜타닐(3-메틸벤질펜타닐)은 1973년 [2]처음 발명된 펜타닐의 아날로그(및 구조 이성질체)로 디자이너 [3]의약품으로 판매되고 있는 오피오이드 진통제이다.
부작용
펜타닐 유사체의 부작용은 가려움, 메스꺼움, 생명을 위협할 수 있는 잠재적으로 심각한 호흡 우울증을 포함하는 펜타닐 자체의 부작용과 유사하다.2000년대 초 에스토니아에서 가장 최근 사용이 재개된 이후 펜타닐 유사품이 유럽과 구소련 공화국 전역에서 수백 명의 목숨을 앗아갔고,[4] 새로운 파생상품이 계속해서 등장하고 있다.펜타닐 유사체 및 관련 사망의 새로운 물결은 2014년 경 미국에서 시작되어 유병률이 계속 증가하고 있다.특히 2016년 이후 이 약들은 매주 수백 [5]건의 과다 복용 사망을 일으키고 있다.
법적 상태
펜타닐 자체의 구조적 이성질체로서 이소펜타닐은 전 세계 많은 관할구역에서 약물 유사법에 의해 금지되어 있다.미국에서 펜타닐 관련 물질은 스케줄 I 통제 [1]물질이다.
