BeatThatQuote.comBeatThatQuote.com은 개인 금융 상품을 전문으로 하는 영국의 가격 비교 사이트였다.이 사이트는 구글에 인수된 뒤 2013년 비활성화됐다.
역사
아마존닷컴은 2005년 2월 런던 켄티시 타운에 본사를 둔 존 플로밀라이트스에[1] 의해 출범했다.[2]2006년부터 2007년까지의 회계연도에 그 회사는 780만 파운드의 수익을 올렸다.[3]
닐슨 온라인이 2007년에 가장 빠르게 성장하는 영국 웹사이트로 순위를 매겼으며,[4] 2011년 3월 구글에 3,770만 파운드에 인수되었다.[5]아마존닷컴은 구글이 검색엔진을 인수한 다음 날 스팸메일을 보낸 것에 대해 구글에 의해 불이익을 받았다.[6]
결국 구글은 자신들이 획득한 기술 중 일부를 이용해 구글비교를 만들었다.하지만 이는 성공적이지 못했고 2016년 3월 문을 닫았다.[7]
