GPR12의 유전자 산물은 고아 수용체이며, 이는 내인성 배위자 가 현재 알려져 있지 않음을 의미한다. 생쥐의 GPR12 유전자 교란은 이상지질혈증 과 [8] 비만을 초래한다.
