CSP-2503은 페닐피페라진 등급의 강력한 선택적 5-HT1A 수용체 작용제, 5-HT2A 수용체 길항제 및 5-HT3 수용체 길항제다.[1] 2003년에 처음 합성된 이 제품은 컴퓨터 모델과 QSAR 연구에 기초하여 설계되었다.[2][3] 랫드 연구에서 CSP-2503은 항불안제 효과를 보여 왔으며, 따라서 복합 작용 메커니즘을 가진 인간의 불안요소에 대한 치료법으로 제시되어 왔다.[1]
